I'm not sure what I did to scare my little boy away from any kind of fun.....but I did. We tried to go to the Syracuse Heritage Days carnival. They had ferris wheels and merry go rounds and little trains and cotton candy and I was totally prepared to spoil David as I had nothing better to do. Eric was out of town and Cade was visiting with Grandma. I thought it would be so fun to go to the carnival just with David. The second he saw the rides and people he started wailing, "SCARY SCARY SCARY!!!!!!" I couldn't get him to calm down. So we left all the people staring at us, and we walked to a nearby park. We played on the park. Kind of boring, but at least it was free.
