I had the opportunity to take part in an amazing night. One of my dear friends lost her first baby a year and half ago (before I knew her.) She and her husband also both lost their jobs. 18 months later they still couldn't afford to put up a headstone for their little one. We decided to put on a benefit concert and silent auction to try to get enough for her. We sang lots ot King Singer's Songs and I played some PDQ Bach stuff, and it was a blast. Not only was it a ton of fun.....but we made our goal! It felt sooooo good to reach that goal, and to see how happy it could make my friend. She is amazing.....soooooo positive....SOOOOOOO FUNNY.....and I'm just so lucky to have some great friends.
